This is a new experience for me. Taking technology courses at Walden University, has truly made me step out of my comfort zone. Isn't that what we need to do as educators? I am always looking for new and exciting ideas to use in my math classes.
Tomorrow is the beginning of a new semester at the high school where I work. I am going to see new faces sitting in my classroom. It feels as though it is the first day of school all over again. This semester will be quite a challenge for me, I will be teaching Algebra to teenagers with various learning difficulties. If any one has suggestions on reaching "at-risk" students please share.

If your school district has money, I suggest that they allow you to use an integrated learning system such as Classworks or Plato.
ReplyDeleteI wish we had money. The district's budget is extremely tight right now. I will check into it though. Sometimes there are funds allocated to just Math or English. Thanks, Lisa
